Earl Gregg Swem Library is a public library that is a member of The Virtual Library of Virginia. The special collections of the library comprises of more than 35,000 rare books, manuscripts, archives photographs, oral histories, and other materials. The library also offers subject guides, videos, DVDs, CDs, tapes, online database, dictionaries and research materials. Its collection also includes government documents, microforms, cartographic materials, computer files and newspapers. The media center of the Earl Gregg Swem Library serves the instructional and curricular needs of the William and Mary community in Virginia. Additionally, the library offers records management and a variety of photographic and digital services for library patrons. Earl Gregg Swem Library provides interlibrary loans and is located in Williamsburg, Va.
