Leesburg United Methodist Church has a longstanding history, as it was established in Loudoun County in 1766. The current church was built in 1852 and is led by Rev. James Wishmyer. The church still follows founder John Wesley's teachings. There are ministry programs for men, women, youth, children and seniors. Leesburg United also has an on-site preschool center. Music and drama programs are available as are children's music and adult choir.
