Gene's Antiques has been around since 1995 at this very location. It is full of interesting pieces, from porcelain baby shoes, crystal and watches to paintings, books and framed images of pop icons. Perhaps you've heard that in the 1950s Marilyn Monroe mentioned during an interview that she slept wearing only Chanel No. 5; soon afterward she was asked to do a Chanel campaign. You'll find one of those framed images here.
You'll also find jewelry and other unexpected items. It's like a treasure hunt. Every corner has something unique and interesting, so come and see for yourself.
Found at Antiques & Art Emporium on Little River Turnpike, it's easily seen and very accessible to and from the D.C. metropolitan area. A message from the owner, who believes in giving the best service: "Come visit."
