Burkwood S&RC is a family oriented, member-owned recreation association serving the communities in Hanover County in Virginia. It offers swimming and tennis facilities, a fitness center and programs to its members and guests. The facility includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts, indoor cycling and complete weight room with personal trainers. Burkwood S&RC has a 4,000-square-foot fitness area with cardiovascular equipment, free weights, cycling and locker rooms, and shower and sauna facilities. It also has an aerobics studio with floating wood floor and ballet bars, a youth activities room and lounge and snack bar area.
