Richlands High School
Founded in 1891, Richlands High School is accredited by the State Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Richlands High School provides classes in English, math, science, social studies, economics, computer technology, marketing and finance. It organizes various sports, dramatics, forensics, publications, and cheerleading and music festivals. The school also offers sports activities in baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, golf, wrestling football, and track and field. Richlands High School supports several clubs, including the Future Business Leaders of America, Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It additionally has a student council. Richlands High School is a part of the Tazewell County Public Schools, which also operates elementary, middle and high schools, as well as alternative education centers. Richlands High School is located in Richlands, Va.
