Because of the Mission Jesus set for his church in Matthew 28:18-20, we believe that we are called to engage the world on all levels of life and thought. We do this corporately through teaching and preaching with a strong emphasis on the truths, principles, and doctrines found in scripture, by helping members identify their gifts and skills, and through training our members how to use those gifts and skills within the mission and vision to which God has called the church. Individually, we encourage each member to become involved in the study of scripture as well as continuing their education in the areas of life in which they find themselves, we expect our members to be involved in ministry (either within the doors of the church or outside), and we strive to provide ministry opportunities both locally and globally according to a person's gifts, skills, and experience.
