Five generations of Olivers have continued this tradition for over 145 years. Dedicated service to the community started with great-great-uncle Sterling T. Oliver building his first funeral home in downtown Norfolk, establishing a tradition of excellence in funeral service that continued with his nephew, H.D. Oliver and subsequently our father, Harry D. Oliver II and our uncle, James B. Oliver. Those who worked so hard to build the trust and respect of our community would be proud of the way John P. and Martin V.
