Prince William County Public Schools Adult Learning Center works to provide educational opportunities for adults who require further education, employment and personal enrichment. Located in Manassas, Va., it offers an adult basic education instruction program for individuals more than 18 years of age and whose basic reading, math and writing skills are below the ninth grade level of achievement. The program also conducts general educational development testing for individuals interested in taking high school equivalency examinations. Prince William County Public Schools Adult Learning Center additionally organizes classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages. Its workplace skills program is for employees and conducts on-site training to develop English language proficiency and improve basic reading, math and writing skills.
