The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) is dedicated to improving the teaching profession and positively impacting student learning. With former West Virginia Governer and Congressman Bill Wise serving as the Chair on NBPTS's Board of Directors, and with fee assistance programs and scholarships, NBPTS brings advanced teaching techniques to all teachers at every level.
