HistoryAfter years of dreaming, researching and planning I opened the doors on Golden Age Charters, a return to the Golden Age of boating. I have spent most of my life near and on the water. From fishing with my dad as a child to serving on a rescue vessel out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska salt water is a part of me. After getting our last son accepted to college my wife and I decided it was time to start taking charters and we have been growing steadily since and are continually adding more variety to our offerings.SpecialtiesGolden Age Charters offers both private charters and ticketed events. Our vessel is a 42 foot, historic Chesapeake Bay deadrise which offers modern amenities such as a full galley (kitchen), head (restroom) and complete electronics and safety package. Our vessel, DEJJ-a-Vu, has ample seating in the saloon as well as on deck and even features heat for the cooler fall or winter cruises. We offer scenic cruises, onboard dining, small event hosting (including weddings!) and destination cruises as well as ticketed events including sunset cruises, pirate cruises, ghost tours and more! Our skipper holds a 50 ton USCG masters license and is also a former firefighter and current school teacher. He has extensive experience working with people of all ages and needs and looks forward to welcoming you aboard DEJJ-a-Vu!
