HistoryGreenberry House began as an online venue for retailing books, hand made craft items, handspun yarn and farm raised German Angora rabbits for wool production. Before long the business grew to the point that a bricks and mortar location made sense, and the shop opened in 2006. Since then a growing number of handspinners and shepherds have joined the shop as vendors and we offer a quality selection of beautifully handspun and hand dyed yarns at our location just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Meadows of Dan.SpecialtiesLocally produced yarn and spinning fibers by artisans and farmers of Southwest Virginia and Northwest North Carolina. Hand spun, hand dyed, luxury and specialty yarns along with knitting tools and needles, books and magazines. We also feature a nice line of cotton yarns for summer knitting and wash cloths and beautiful commercial acrylics for prayer shawls and baby things.
