Children, Incorporated, also known as CI, is a nonprofit, international organization that serves the physical, emotional and educational needs of children throughout the world. Founded in 1964, its Appalachian Division offers clothing, school supplies, and hygiene and food items to more than 700 children. The organization s Latin American Division serves children in economic and political crises. Children, Incorporated has partnerships with The Pajama Program, Nussentials and Spotts Fain. It serves Mitchell High School, East Ridge High School and Millard Hensley Elementary School. The organization also administers several educational programs.
