Icing for Joy is a family owned and operated bakery. For years, this mother-daughter team joined together on special occasions to create custom, fresh-baked items for their friends and family. As more and more people experienced and enjoyed their delicious beautiful creations, Angela and Irene began receiving requests from others in the community for wedding cakes, cupcakes, anniversary cakes, birthday cakes, and cookies. Having satisfied so many people in the Washington, DC area over the past 10 years, they decided to form Icing for Joy.
