Founded in 1973, Hartwood Foundation is a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization that offers a variety of health care services for people with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. The organization operates several group residences, as well as maintains a more than 5-bed facility that provides respite and emergency services. It also offers a variety of family support services and conducts enrichment programs. Hartwood Foundation provides job training and various employment opportunities.
