HistoryOur story has its beginnings - as many great small business stories do - in a hard-fought struggle against adversity. In many ways, our story is as much our own as it is also the story of the healing power of yoga. Our business plan was set into motion on the day our studio owner turned to yoga after her husband- a young, healthy pastor and excited-father-to-be- died unexpectedly just two months before their daughter was born. Owner Emily Adams knew of the well-documented power of yoga and meditation to re-wire the brain to react more adaptively to stress. So, with a baby on the way, she immersed herself in yoga as a way to regain control of her inner landscape so she could parent ably under the extremely adverse circumstances she found herself faced with.
