Established in 1960, Electric Motor Company is one of the largest motor shops on the East Coast. Located in Chesapeake, Va., the ISO 9001 certified company has over 87,000 square feet of facility that is one of the largest independently owned repair facilities for rotating machinery in the United States. It provides shop, nuclear and field services. The company is also an authorized warranty center for Baldor, Toshiba, Lincoln, Siemens, Marathon, WEG and U.S. Electric, among others.
