Ridge Elementary School has been operational for more than 125 years and is located in Richmond, Va. It provides academic services to approximately 450 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Ridge Elementary School is a part of Henrico County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Virginia with a total enrollment of nearly 47,500 students in over 65 educational institutions. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that conducts monthly meetings and organizes various events and activities for the overall development of the school. Ridge Elementary School also operates a library media center that houses a collection of more than 10,000 books and supports and maintains the databases for the accelerated reader program.
