I started Curley's Q because my friends and family have be telling me for years to open a restaurant, my reply was I don't want to go broke that quick! My brother in law, finally pushed the hot button and I realized that I can really create some smiles on peoples faces. Now I am no dummy, friends and family are one thing the rest of the world is another! I was optimistic that people would love my BBQ, so I figured I would test this out without spending my savings on a food truck. So....... I bought a 250 gallon oil drum and a 55 gallon oil drum. A friend and I spent about 50 hours cutting and welding, and we created an amazing smoker with an off set heat source that would double as a grill. I attached this to my minivan and went to Seat Pleasant, in PG county, where I set up shop at my Brother in laws parking lot. After 6 months, I realized that I needed something bigger to serve people better. And so Curley's Q was born
