History
Cool Stuff's history is now linked to Video Game Heaven's history. As a regional specialty retailer of video game products, collectibles and consumer electronics, Video Game Heaven traces its roots back to 1994 as a small shop inside of Bill's Flea Market in Virginia Beach, VA. The store took off in a big way after finding ways to serve consumers discounted games, hard to find rarities, and used reliable systems at affordable prices. Cool Stuff (originally unaffiliated with Video Game Heaven) was easily its biggest competitor locally in stocking rarities in the video game world, but also specialized in stocking videos and a great assortment of collectibles. After the original owner of Cool Stuff moved on to other opportunities, Video Game Heaven made a decision to acquire Cool Stuff in 2014, but kept much of the same spirit and variety it always offered to its customers.
