The City of Manassas Animal Adoption Center opened its doors in 2005 and seeks to provide shelter for animals picked up by Animal Control, whether they're stray or lost. Unclaimed animals are offered for adoption and are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and tested for FIV or heartworm. In addition to dogs and cats, they also occasionally have small animals for adoption, including guinea pigs, rabbits or birds. See the website for more information or to learn more about adopting a pet.
