Chester Express Shuttle was started by the owner of Gentleman Taxi in Richmond. He saw a need to get quicker service to those in Chester and the surrounding area, especially for short trips which a lot of other cab companies were turning away. The big challenge when a cab is in Richmond is there may be a long delay in order for the cab to arrive. Taxi fares are regulated by local ordinances and short trips get fast service because the driver is all ready local in the Chester area. In June of 2013, we changed our name slightly to Chester Express Shuttle & Taxi as we now operate in a larger region of Richmond's South side.
