Cedar Lane High School is a Fairfax County Public School for emotionally disabled adolescents. The high school specializes in fostering the personal, intellectual and social growth of its students. The school has a PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) program, PLC (Professional Learning Community), ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), mentoring, guided study and other student-focused programs. The students participate in WAT (Work Awareness and Transition), where they go to work in the community to learn work skills. The school has a number of extracurricular programs including a Literary Arts Magazine Club and television broadcast crew. Cedar Lane students are invested in providing community service through their Service Learning Projects which include local, national and international recipients. The Cedar Lane Panthers basketball team currently holds the 2012-13 Champion Trophy in the Virginia Alternative Basketball League. Mr. Tom Lundy is the Principal.
