Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) was started more than thirty years ago by four people who, living with disabilities and having to overcome barriers themselves, wished to create a way to help other New Hampshire residents with disabilities live full, independent and complete lives. Today, this statewide nonprofit organization offers support, education, advocacy and information to people with all kinds of disabilities, as well as seniors, to help them overcome social barriers is a statewide nonprofit organization that specializes in promoting life and independence for individuals with disabilities. Services include in-home care, community-based disability supports, employment services and more, helping those with disabilities live independently, make informed personal choices and live life to the fullest.
