History
A family farm until the mid-1960's, the Cape-style house dates back to the late 1700's. The property operated as a farm in one family for close to 200 years. In 1969, new owners began renting rooms and serving breakfast to travelers during fall foliage. They added on additional inn rooms, a dining room and the motel wing in the early 1970's. The current family purchased the property in 1979 and expanded the business to year-round, added evening meals and enhanced the breakfast with made-to-order omelets and homemade baked goods from family recipes. The family still runs the inn with it's second generation of innkeepers, Kim and Jeff Seymour
