Journey’s Salon & Guest House is located in North Troy Vermont, a small quaint village in the region known as The North East Kingdom. The home, built in 1840, has as much character as her age might suggest. With the original tin ceilings on most of the main level, I have maintained much of the character of the time period. The entire home is decorated with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage items. Creating and elegant yet funky environment. All of the rooms are spacious including the bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and sitting area for when you want to chill on your own. The kitchen, dining room, living/media room and reading/napping nook are all common areas and may be used by guest. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality equipment and very functional. I supply spices and condiments as well as a continental breakfast. Groceries may be purchased at the market in walking distance of the house. If you like you can walk to Canada; it is 1 mile from my home. Remember a passport is required even to cross on foot. Jay Peak Mountain Resort is a short 9 miles from my home, with skiing during the winter months, golf, fishing and hiking during the summer months and a year round water park.
