History
Rod Payne-Meyer, M.A., has been creating beautiful landscapes in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts since 1974. With a BS undergraduate degree from UVM in Plant and Soil Science, and a Master of Arts in Landscape Design from the Conway School of Landscape Design, Rod began Creative Landscapes in 1983. With his many years of experience, Rod has developed a distinctive vision for landscape design work. He pays close attention to lines, shapes, proportions, and configurations. Within his landscapes one experiences the color, fragrance, and feel of the plants. He works with the energies and assets already existing in the nature of a place. Rod's designs emphasize the interplay between plants and stone, water and wood. Client projects of note include many fine residential landscapes and many thriving commercial establishments. Creative Landscapes' designs are implemented by a professional staff that prides itself on quality work.
