The Brattlebro Savings and Loan Association was formed in 1912. It merged with Springfield Savings and Loan in 1994. Some of its personal and business banking services include savings and checking accounts, MasterMoney debit card, safe deposit boxes, loans, merchant services, lines of credit, certificates of deposit and individual retirement accounts. In addition, the bank provides business credit cards, night deposits, coin and currency services, electronic payments, payroll services and retirement planning. The Brattleboro Savings and Loan Association is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is an Equal Housing Lender. The association invested $250,000 in 2006 for the renovation of its branch at the Brattlebro Union High School and the Windham Regional Center.
