History
Wardle Fields began as an 80-acre farm run by the Wardle family. For nearly fifty years, the Wardle family grew alfalfa, barley and sugar beets on the property from the early 1900s until the 1950s. Salt Lake County purchased the land in 2008 and Wardle Fields Regional Park opened to the public on May 27, 2017.
