Tooele County Parks and Recreation is a department that is governed by Tooele County in Utah. The department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of gun and shooting ranges. It also offers opportunities for camping, swimming and horseback riding. Tooele County Parks and Recreation manages an aquatic center, firefighting museum and softball complex. In addition, the department administers the BMX program. It operates Deseret Peak Complex, which includes an archery park, race track, convention center, golf course, horse stables, and motorized, outdoor and indoor arenas. Tooele County Parks and Recreation additionally manages a canyon that features a reservoir, playground, pavilion and camping sites.
