Specialties4Truck was named for the real FDNY 4 Truck that lost all 15 firefighters and apparatus at their station on 911. When we rode there as firefighters for the 10th anniversary of 9-11 they reminded me at a time when I most needed it that being a firefighter is a lot greater privilege and responsibility than being an employee of any particular fire department. 4Truck strives to honor the memory of those 15 men, the 338 other FDNY members that gave there lives that day and all others who have given their lives in the line of duty. We do this by humbly providing food that has been loved in local fire stations for the last 25 years out of a vintage 1963 ford vannette which started it's life as a first response vehicle. I am still a full time firefighter and we only operate on my off days so our availability is limited. We have been in business for 3 years and have rave reviews. Come try some fantastic firehouse food or have us cater your next event. I was trained as a chef early in life.
