The frames are handmade out of true hardwoods and feature half lap cornering. The corners are far superior in strength than traditional 45 degree corners and aesthetically unique. The corners can also be pegged with various hardwood dowels. The dowels add to the aesthetics, while helping to minimize expansion and contraction. The frames will eventually mature into antiques. We use a variety of woods such as Walnut, Hickory, Bloodwood, Jatoba, Purpleheart etc. We can also work with a wood of your choosing to match your decor. You can also put my frames with my fine art photography prints for a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
