History
The SkyRidge Story In 1991, Sally Elliot and Karen Kesler discovered Capitol Reef Country. After much 'oohing and ahhing', they purchased these 75 stunning acres and built a bed and breakfast. SkyRidge Welcomed guests Valentine's Day weekend, 1994. SkyRidge Inn Bed and Breakfast was the first lodging facility in Southern Utah to receive the coveted 4-Diamond rating from AAA. Karen was the principle architect, interior and landscape designer for SkyRidge. Sally, was the chef, and business manager. Jerry and Shauna purchased the Inn in 2001. They developed Country Inn with fine dining which continued for 10 years. Kim and Irene Langton purchased the SkyRidge Inn in July 2008. Kim is a superintendant at the Yupiit School District in the mouth of Denali National Park in Healey Alaska. Irene has worked in Healey Alaska as a Pre-School teacher. Their love and zest for the outdoors is mutually shared by their four children and 11 grandchildren.
