Barry M. Stults
Barry M. Stults, M.D. is Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Utah Medical Center, Madsen Clinic-Internal Medicine, and Salt Lake City VA Medical Center. As a general internist, his clinical interests include all aspects of adult preventive health care and acute and chronic adult health problems (eg., hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol disorders, asthma, COPD, heart failure, coronary heart disease, venous thromboembolism, etc.). He has special interest in the management of resistant hypertension.Dr. Stults received his M.D. degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He received training in medicine and pulmonary diseases from the University of Utah Medical Center and from the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Stults currently serves as Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine. He is currently Associate Program Director for the internal medicine residency training program.
