Founded in 1983, Children's Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for improving and saving the lives of children. Its more than 150 member hospitals provide medical care, research and preventative education services. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, the organization helps more than 17 million children each year. Its member hospitals offer treatment for cancer, pediatric AIDS, muscular dystrophy, leukemia, sickle cell anemia and asthma. The organization provides funds for critical care units and pediatric and neonatal intensive care support. It also provides funds for emergency vehicles and expansion of hospital facilities. Additionally, Children's Miracle Network develops, produces, broadcasts and promotes health awareness programs.
