History
Canyon Rim Academy opened in August of 2007. Our building was previously owned by a local district, and closed down due to declining enrollment. Parents in the community wanted their local school to be a viable school option, and petitioned the state to open as a charter school. That charter was granted, and the school has been running successfully since 2007.
Specialties
Canyon Rim Academy is a public charter school located on the east side of Salt Lake City, Ut. We opened in 2007 and enroll Kindergarten through 6th grade students. CRA has an emphasis on the arts and provides specialty classes each week in the areas of art, music and PE in addition to regular classroom instruction. CRA has excellent teachers and a caring support staff.
