Santaquin is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,834 at the 2000 census, while the 2008 estimates placed it at 8,400.
Santaquin is located at 39°58?29?N 111°47?4?W / 39.97472°N 111.78444°W / 39.97472; -111.78444 (39.974758, -111.784362). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.8 km²), all land. It is located south-east of Utah Lake.
