Woodway Elementary School has a staff of more than 45 teachers and provides academic classes to over 750 students from prekindergarten through grade five. It offers a wide range of programs, such as accelerated reader program, gifted education program, open court reading program, Saxon math, strings and computers networked classroom. The school offers various extracurricular activities, including art contest, book fairs, chess club, history fair, reading bee, safety patrol, science fair, spelling bee and visiting authors. It is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and its academic curriculum includes computer technology, special education, reading and writing, social studies and science. Woodway Elementary School is governed by the Fort Worth Independent School District and is located in Fort Worth, Texas.
