History
Window on the Plains Museum started in 1976 in the ballroom of a historic hotel. In 2001, the museum moved to its permanent location on ten acres in the south part of Dumas. It has doubled in size since the move and now includes The Art Center which features area artists in monthly exhibits.
Specialties
County museum preserves history of Moore County. It has extensive displays centered around farming and ranch, industry, business, family life and wildlife.
