We opened the store in August, 2017, but it really all started more than 20 years ago when we hung up our first seed bell. Since then attracting and feeding our backyard birds has become a part of our lives. Opening the Wild Bird Center of Lakeway was a natural extension of our passion for backyard birding. We're here to help you create a backyard bird haven -- for the birds and for your enjoyment.

We're on a mission to turn every yard in the Lake Travis area into a Wild Bird Center, a little slice of nature that provides the joy and relaxation that observing wildlife brings. Providing for birds in our area contributes to the health, welfare and preservation of birds for generations to come. Whether you're new to the hobby, or a seasoned bird lover, we invite you to come into the store. We're stocked with a wide selection of feeders and seed for every situation, along with nest boxes, suet, seed cakes, bird baths, accessories and hardware for even the most challenging mounting needs. Our Wild Bird Center seed blends contain no cheap fillers, only premium grains. Our seed is fresh, debris-free and packed with protein and your backyard birds will love it.
