HistoryExplore was founded in England in 2001. It is now one of the leading providers of enrichment and tutoring in the UK. It was founded by Bill Mills, a Cambridge University mathematics graduate with a lifelong passion for education. Bill was born and brought up at Highfield School, which was founded by his grandfather in 1904, and where his father was Headmaster. The ethos behind Explore was to develop a tutoring company that would be used as a long-term complement to school. Bill achieved this by creating a service that produces proven academic results in a setting where children love to learn. This unique approach to tutoring has been incredibly successful in the UK, where over 100,000 children have already become Explore members. In March 2014, we opened our first international location in Colleyville, Texas, and have since expanded across the DFW area.
