The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center operates schools of allied health, medicine, nursing, and pharmacology. It has campuses located in Amarillo, as well as in Abilene, El Paso and Odessa, Texas. The center provides medical services to more than 100 counties, a geographic region, as well as to all the Texas Department of Corrections facilities. Its school of allied health sciences offers more than 14 doctoral, masters and baccalaureate health professions degree programs in the rehabilitation, clinical laboratory, speech, language and hearing sciences, and disciplines related to primary care. The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center s academic degree programs include doctor of audiology, philosophy in communication sciences and disorders and science in physical therapy and master s of science degrees in molecular pathology, clinical practice management and speech-language pathology.
