Truman Middle School, founded in 1980, enrolls students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as fine arts, English, math, science and social studies. The school also offers a special education program for students with special needs. It involves students in a range of athletic activities and extracurricular programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that conducts various fundraising events, including inkjet cartridge collection and Box Tops for Education.
