Specialties
The Human Path is the premiere survival training and sustainable living school in the San Antonio and Austin area. We offer certifications in Wilderness First Aid, Doula Training, and Herbalism using plants as medicine. We teach survivalism classes across multiple disciplines such as self-defense with hand to hand, handgun, and stick fighting, water filtration, blacksmithing, plant foraging, food preservation and food storage through techniques like canning and drying, permaculture, and post-disaster survival. We offer many other courses so contact the school to find out when the type of classes you're interested in is scheduled next! Our classes are uniquely structured for any level of experience and not gender or size exclusionary. Never tried a survival course before? Find our next workshop or beginners class and give it a try. Our instructors are certified and have the highest levels of experience in each of their individual fields. Our classes are kid friendly, so bring young minds ready to take steps forward in sustainable ecology! Within the school is our Herbal Medics school. Once a month we offer an Herbal Clinic in downtown San Antonio for anyone looking for natural alternatives to pharmaceutical medicine. Students in our Herbalism disciplines will have the opportunity to join us in relief work in the United States, bringing medical first aid to communities devastated by chemical contamination or natural disasters.
