Sudip Thakar, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Kelsey-Seybold. He attended Baylor College of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 2018. He then went to McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, completing his residency in 2022. Dr. Thakar headed to Duke University to complete an Oculofacial Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in 2024. Dr. Thakar's areas of expertise include functional, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery involving eyelids, brows, and face; eyelid tumor management and reconstruction of eyelids after Mohs Surgery; treatment for eyelid and canalicular trauma; eye removal surgery; treatment of thyroid eye disease; and Botox and filler injections. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2024.
