Founded in 1997, Henry Steubing Elementary School is a learning institute that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, art, music, math, computer applications and physical education. The school additionally offers English as a Second Language and accelerated reader programs. It provides special education classes for students with developmental disabilities. The school operates a library that offers a variety of educational and learning materials. Henry Steubing Elementary School is a part of the Northside Independent School District, which serves more than 85,000 students through over 95 elementary, middle and high schools.
