Founded in 1961, St. Laurence High School is a Catholic, College preparatory school conducted by the Congregation of Irish Christian Brothers. Located in Sugar Land, Texas, the school facility includes a chapel, several academic wings, computer labs, a graphics design center, modern science labs, a media center, guidance center with career planning and college placement services. The school includes a more than 1,500-seat gymnasium and a fitness center. St. Laurence High School also provides various academic programs, Christian values, athletic programs and social experiences. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, physical education, and Bible readings. St. Laurence High School offers various music programs, including Marching Gold Band, beginning band, basketball pep band and liturgical ensembles. In addition, its music department offers two music theory courses.
