Southwest Gear initially started as Bob's Transmissions in 1997. In April 2000 we added the Parts Warehouse and became Southwest Gear. We are known for our superb customer service, honesty, and professionalism. Southwest Gear is proud to be the home of the top transmission specialists in the area. We are, also, the only Standard Transmission Warehouse in the greater El Paso area where you can purchase parts for your manual transmission, transfer case, or differential. We are in the initial stage of publishing books and videos that will guide you through the rebuild process of your transmission or transfer case. If you don't want to do the work yourself, we will remove the transmission, transfer case, or differential from your vehicle, rebuild it, and reinstall it and give you a 12 month/12,000 warranty.
