History
About Victor: From a very young age, my parents planted the seed of entrepreneurship. My dad made the transition from delivery driver to business owner when I was young. I grew up around the business and loved it! Our family is from a small town in Mexico known for great ice cream. Growing up in Mexico and then LA, great Hispanic ice cream was on every block. When our family moved to Waco, Texas, the unimaginable occurred, a lack of mangonadas!! I followed a traditional career path. After graduating, I joined a CPA firm and quickly felt depressed. I wandered aimlessly for a while. I moved in with my parents, tried my hand at many jobs, slowly gravitating to my childhood love: the Mexican culture. My parents partnered with an investor to open a business in Haltom City. After purchasing the building, the investor pulled out. My parents were left with an old, abandoned building. I saw the opportunity to bring the community a delicious piece of Mexico and 9 months later, SolDias was born.
