This company was established in 1972 as Rucker Surveying. Michael Price went to work for Rucker in 1984 and obtained his license as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 2001, at which time he then purchased the company upon Rucker's retirement. Michael has also been a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors since January of 2002. Price Surveying has an experienced staff with two of our employees having certification as an S.I.T. ( Surveyor in Training ) and currently working toward obtaining their surveyor's licenses, and one of our field crew chiefs has been with the company 12 years. This company also has accumulated a large amount of survey records, dating back as far as the 1930's. Our experience includes all types of boundary surveying and topographical surveying of construction, rural, commercial and residential properties, and staking oil and gas well sites. We perform surveys ranging from small house lots up to our largest project to date, a 12, 000-acre ranch in Palo Pinto County. This experience also encompasses surveying many Brazos River Authority properties in the past. We have up-to-date GPS systems, total stations, ATV's, and boats to survey the riverfront areas as well as lake properties only accessible by water. We have an excellent working relationship with the Brazos River Authority staff as well as all of the local title companies and attorneys in the Mineral Wells and the Possum Kingdom Lake area. Our primary service area includes Palo Pinto County and the surrounding counties of Parker, Hood, Erath, Comanche, Eastland, Stephens, Young, Jack, Wise and Tarrant.
