HistoryThe oldest continuous business in Howe. The original Howe Enterprise newspaper was founded in June of 1963 by A.P. (Pop) Sloan. He sold the business to my grandfather, Bob Walker, in July of 1966. Walker sold it to Jim Echols in August of 1974. Mr. Echols sold the business to Dale and Lana Rideout in 1978, who changed the name to The Texoma Enterprise in the mid 1990's.
